As grandmas, we are fortunate to have many Groovy Grandma moments...and I'd like to share a recent one with you.

My oldest granddaughter, Faith, loves to decorate cakes, cookies, cupcakes... anything edible! We have had classes in using fondant but she decided she wanted to learn the traditional method of cake decorating. I am a graduate of the Wilton School of Cake Decorating (when the Wilton family actually taught it), so I was thrilled to share some of the techniques with her.

Turns out that Faith is a NATURAL at cake decorating!! She learned quickly the correct way to hold the bag and the angles needed to achieve the desired decoration. She even wanted to learn how to make a rose, which we worked on for quite a while. You can see the finished product below.
